My yogA JOURNEY

“In a world addicted to speed, slowness is a superpower.” — Carl Honoré

My yoga journey began in 2021 when I moved to the United Kingdom. Navigating life abroad alone during COVID, I found myself disconnected, thus pouring all my energy into building my corporate career. On the surface, everything looked successful. I was young and obtaining achievements quickly compared to my peers. But underneath, I was experiencing constant burnout.

As a people pleaser, I sought external validation at the cost of my own boundaries. I overworked, pushed through exhaustion, and eventually became physically unwell from the stress.

I came to yoga initially for the physical practice, but what I discovered was so much more. Through the connection of breath and movement, I began to reconnect with my body, mind, and soul. Yoga became a space of stillness, a refuge where I could turn inward and feel safe. As my practice deepened, I became fascinated by yoga as a way of life, not just a form of exercise. I realized that inner peace was always within reach—and slowly, I reclaimed my power.

Having experienced this transformation, I feel deeply called to share yoga with others. My intention is to guide students back to their own sense of strength, balance, and inner calm.

My Approach

My teaching is rooted in Hot Power Vinyasa (Baptiste Yoga) and 4BEAT Yoga. My main teachers were Ari & Elina Iso-Rautio, Marcus Veda and Aggi Surma. I focus on harnessing the power of synergy - breath, movement, and collective energy to help students enter a flow state. Expect dynamic, challenging sequences designed to build strength and presence, balanced with a strong emphasis on breath to quiet the mind.

My beliefs

I believe yoga is for everybody regardless of age, gender, or ability. I meet each student where they are, offering guidance that supports both growth and self-acceptance. It’s not about perfecting the pose, but about enjoying the journey toward it.

my purpose

My purpose is simple: that you leave each class feeling a little lighter, more connected, and more yourself.

I guide people to build strength that lasts. Through a strong and sustainable practice where strength is developed with awareness and without injury, allowing yoga to support you in everyday life.

I value hands-on assists as a powerful tool to support alignment and help students safely expand their potential within each asana.

I’m deeply passionate about community. I believe in the magic of moving and flowing together, creating connection not only on the mat, but also beyond it. Therefore, I also love creating spaces and events where people can connect off the mat, as human beings.

My teaching goes beyond the physical, shaping the way you move, feel, and connect with yourself and the world around you. I naturally weave in elements of yoga philosophy, inviting you into a more mindful and meaningful practice.

How will you impact personal practice and development?

I guide you to build strength in a way that feels safe, sustainable, and empowering. As someone who is hypermobile, I’m deeply aware of how yoga can support injury prevention and cultivate a balance between strength and softness.

My teaching goes beyond achieving physical postures. I support students in developing a deeper, more intuitive connection with their bodies—so your body becomes something you trust, not something you push against.

Your practice doesn’t have to be serious to be powerful. I encourage an approach that is both disciplined and joyful, where you can challenge yourself while still having fun and feeling at home in your body.

Through breath, movement, and mindful awareness, you are invited to move beyond the physical and experience yoga as a holistic practice. Beyond the poses, we tap into something deeper—breath, presence, and mindfulness.

I also weave yoga philosophy into my classes, encouraging you to reflect not only on your asana practice, but on how you live your life off the mat, so yoga becomes more than movement, but a space to return to yourself with authenticity and purpose.

I believe in the power of community. There is something truly powerful about sharing energy in a room—moving, growing, and evolving together. It’s a reminder that yoga is not just an individual journey, but something we experience and expand through collectively.
