4BEAT Yoga is a dynamic vinyasa practice inspired by Rocket Yoga, founded in East London by Marcus Veda. Syncing the breath to the slow & regular beat of the music, allowing the whole room to breath, move, flow together in unity — creating a shared flow where the entire room breathes and moves as one. It becomes a moving meditation.

WHAT IS 4BEAT?

BREATH

At the heart of 4BEAT is the Ujjayi breath, guided by a consistent 4-count inhale and 4-count exhale. Regardless of the shape you take, if you are connected to your breath, you are fully in the practice. The beat is around 60–70 BPM - a tempo close to our resting heart rate. Encouraging you to slow down your breath. This rhythmic breathing supports parasympathetic activation, enhancing calm, focus, endurance, and a deep meditative state.

4BEAT 的核心在於 Ujjayi 呼吸法,以穩定的四拍吸氣、四拍呼氣為節奏。不論你處於任何體式,只要將呼吸與動作連結,你就已經全然投入於練習之中。音樂節拍約為每分鐘 60–70 拍,近乎人體靜止心率的節奏,溫和地引導你放慢呼吸。這種有節奏的呼吸有助啟動副交感神經系統,提升放鬆感、專注力與耐力,同時帶來更深層的冥想體驗。

ASANA

The practice is structured into four phases: Warm Up, Stand Up, Sit Down, and Lie Down. Within this framework, you’ll explore a dynamic range of postures, including opportunities for inversions and arm balances. However, the integrity of the breath  takes priority over the complexity of the pose. Each asana is offered as a tool, with options to meet you where you are. It’s not about how the pose looks but how it feels. You are encouraged to move in a way that aligns with your energy, whether that’s grounding or energising.

體式(ASANA)
整個練習分為四個階段:熱身(Warm Up)、站立(Stand Up)、坐姿(Sit Down)及躺姿(Lie Down)。在這個結構中探索多樣的體式,包括倒立與手平衡等富有挑戰的體式。我們會給予不同體式的選擇,讓你按照當下的身體狀態作出調整。重點不在於體式看起來如何,而是在於你在體式當下的感受。在練習中,保持穩定的呼吸比動作的難度更為重要。無論是想要沉穩內在還是感受活力,你都可以自由選擇最適合當刻狀態的練習方式。

UNITY

When breath and movement synchronise across a group, something powerful emerges. A collective rhythm forms: soft, steady, and connected—creating a sense of unity. This shared experience reflects the true meaning of yoga: union, both within ourselves and with those around us.
